Business Climate Survey results in whole country showed that the national business climate index (BCI) was 115.9 in the second quarter, boomed 10.3 points quarter-on-quarter.

The BCIs of industry, construction industry, and real estate industry picked up significantly. In the second quarter, the BCI of industry promoted to 112.0 since in the proximity of the critical point threshold in the first quarter, with a rise of 12.2 points; of which, the BCI of manufacturing industry climbed above the critical point threshold, with a substantial increase of 13.3 points over first quarter, the manufacturing industries located in business climate zone was significantly more than the first quarter. The BCI of real estate industry fell in a period of four consecutive quarters of previous year, and continued to decline and close to the critical point threshold, the BCI of real estate industry markedly improved in the second quarter, with 18.7 points increased. The BCIs of wholesale and retail trade, transport storage and postal industry, social services, and accommodation and catering industry stood at 126.5, 108.5, 109.0 and 103.0, respectively ballooned 3.9, 4.0, 3.3 and 4.6points quarter-on-quarter, of which, the BCI of accommodation and catering industry rose above the critical point threshold. The BCI of information transmission and computer services, and software industry continued to maintain high economic situation, which stood at 145.1.

The BCIs of various types of enterprises of registration boomed significantly. The BCIs of state-owned enterprises, limited liability company, joint stock company, and foreign funded enterprises, and enterprises with funds from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan respectively was 114.3, 111.6, 125.4 and 116.9, surged 10.4, 9.4, 14.1 and 12.3 points respectively, quarter-on-quarter; that of joint-stock cooperative enterprises, private enterprises stood at 102.0 and 104.7, went up 7.0 and 7.9 points, and entered into the business climate zone. The BCI of collective enterprises was 96.7, continued to locating in the business climate zone.

The BCI of large sized enterprises surged significantly. The BCIs of large sized enterprises was 133.0, up 17.1 points quarter-on-quarter; that of medium sized enterprises was 116.8, promoted 11.0 points; that of small sized enterprises was 98.6, picked up in the vicinity of critical point threshold.

The BCIs of eastern, central and western regions was 115.6, 116.3 and 116.3, increased 11.2, 9.2 and 9.5 points respectively, finished consecutive decline trend in three consecutive quarters.

The BCIs of listed companies, members of the national pilot enterprise groups came up visibly, which stood at 125.8 and 120.0, surged 14.1 and 16.4 points; the BCI of national key state enterprises climbed above the critical point threshold, which stood at 119.1, increased 19.5 points.
