According to the result of nationwide sampling survey on 68 thousand rural households in 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) of China, it was indicated that per capita cash income of rural households reached 3,971 yuan in the third quarter, a year-on-year increase of 19.6 percent, and a real growth of 11.0 percent after deducting price factors.

Per capita income from wages of rural households was 1,358 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19.2 percent. Of the total, per capita income from off-farm employment obtained 1,216 yuan, increased 20.0 percent; thereinto, off-farm employment in native places stood at 691 yuan, rose by 18.5 percent; that of in other places reached 525 yuan, climbing 22.2 percent.

Per capita cash income by selling agricultural products reached 1,717 yuan, a year-on-year growth of 20.1 percent. Of the total, per capita income by selling planted crops reached 913 yuan, an increase of 16.2 percent; that of by selling animal husbandry products was 702 yuan, rose by 27.0 percent; that of by selling forestry products was 45 yuan, an increase of 13.6 percent; and that by selling fishery products was 57 yuan, increased 9.8 percent.

Per capita cash income from secondary and tertiary industries by production and operation of rural households achieved 507 yuan, increased 10.7 percent over the same period of last year. Of the total, per capita cash income from industry was 100 yuan, an increase of 5.5 percent; that of from construction was 61 yuan, up by 16.0 percent; that of from the tertiary industry was 345 yuan, rose by 11.3 percent.

Per capita cash income from properties was 101 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.9 percent, and that of from transfers was 244 yuan, up by 42.2 percent.
