The chain index decreased and remained the general level rose by 5 cities in July as compared with previous month. The growth rate of chain index within 1.0 percent in the cities with increasing price, while that of 15 cities dipped.
Comparing with the same month last year, the sales prices of newly constructed residential buildings decreased in 1 city, while the year-on-year increase rate dropped in 26 cities. In July, the growth rates of 39 cities were within 5.0 percent, year-on-year.
II. Sales Prices of Second-Hand Residential Buildings
Comparing with the previous month, the sales prices of second-hand residential buildings decreased in 22 cities, while that of 12 cities remained general level. The growth rates of chain index were within 1.0 percent in the cities with increasing price, while that of 35 cities were less than 0.5 percent.
Comparing with the same month last year, the sales prices of second-hand residential buildings decreased in 4 cities. The growth rates of 28 cities dropped, increased 4 cities over June. In July, the growth rates of 49 cities were within 5.0 percent, year-on-year.
